Inky black - the densest wine I have ever tasted, yet surprisingly smooth and with soft tannins. A good mouthful of dark fruits make this a great buy at the price if you can get it.
This wine, with all its mature tannins, must be drunk with food. Its spiciness and big whopping black fruits need something to bite into. Red pepper sauces do perfectly.
One of the best pure verdots I've found. While it (obviously) contains more than it's share of tannins, it is complemented with a bouquet of rose and violet while not being too dry to enjoy in mixed company.
