Waterbrook Sauvignon Blanc Columbia Valley 2010
Wonderfully refreshing and fruit forward. Burst of tropical fruits with a main theme of bananas. Powerful palate and a lasting finish. Nice pair with Asian food and fish.
Disappointed because of the price tag. Aroma is of rubbing alcohol. Taste is not typical of sauvignon blancs. Banana, apple, oak, strange flavor profile for a sauv blanc. After a few sips it was drinkable. I'm stuck with a case of it too. Maybe some customers will enjoy it more.
Tastes of kerosene and tar. One sip and dumped. Not sure what these other people were tasting, but this was nasty.
Waterbrook Sauvignon Blanc comes to us from the Columbia Valley region of Washington State. What I liked most about this wine was that it retained the character of what you “expect” from a well-made Sauvignon Blanc, without feeling like someone is ramming lemons, limes and gravel down your throat. Instead, the Waterbrook SB was well-rounded and elegant, offering the versatility to be enjoyed by itself, but also when paired with food. I’d challenge you to beat it for the price (around $15). Fresh and crisp, with bright apricot, lemon zest, melon, grassy and gooseberry flavors. The finish lingers and quenches your thirst as only Sauvignon Blanc can.

A vibrant nose with lemon grass and key lime aromatics. Lively kiwi, gooseberry and tangerine notes are integrated with hints of sugar cane. Bright acidity balances lingering citrus on the finish.
Notes of grass, meyer lemons and a hint of vanilla on the nose. bright flavors of apricot, pineapple and hints of cantaloupe lead to a snappy finish with subtle oak.
