Slightly sweet and hit floral aromas. Juicy and pleasant, with nice fresh acidity, lively black fruit and a cedar box finish.

Dense fruit gradually giving way to hints of spice and cocoa. Very satisfying all around.
Bottle open 1 hour prior to tasting. On the nose, I detect a changing bouquet with caramel, raspberries, plum, cocoa, cherry and rose petal. I sensed notes of spice, cherry, and some amount of hear. The finish dissolved from spice to cocoa over a period of time. I also tasted this with a steak + bearnaise sauce, which heavily muted the fruit flavors and brought out the tannic structure and cocoa notes.
Very delicious. The best merlot I've tasted to date.
