Waterbrook Melange 2011

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

Light, tight and vibrant, with juicy currant and blackberry fruit on a deftly balanced frame, persisting on the refined finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Mourvèdre and others. Drink now through 2016.

A kitchen sink-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Tempranillo and other varieties, with no single one making up more than a quarter of the blend. It brings notes of vanilla, cashews, herbs, pepper and assorted berries that don’t completely marry but still provide enjoyment, with firm tannins providing much of the feel.
