Waterbrook Chardonnay Columbia Valley 2006
At the right temperature this wine has a nose of apples and pears like most other Chardonnays. It has a mineralistic finish that would pare well with spicier dishes but would not be good with salmon. The finish is smooth, it is just more on the stainless steel side than the oak and butter side.

External Reviews for Waterbrook Chardonnay Columbia Valley
This Reserve Chardonnay from Waterbrook Winery has the richness and complexity you would expect from a pricey Napa Chard, with a great price to boot! There are doughy notes on the nose but dominant aromas of grapefruit and lemon rind. The first sip reminds me of roasting marshmallows, when you accidentally light one on fire, blow it out and eat the crusty outer layer! There are also some very nice banana bread components, and the finish boasts flavors of roasted almonds. A great Chardonnay and at this price, a day-to-day wine that will still make you feel like a million bucks!
