Waterbrook Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

External Review by WineExpress.com:

In the early 1980’s, Waterbrook founders set up the town’s fourth bonded winery in Walla Walla realizing the enormous potential of the region. With a 2008-built, state-of-the-art winery, Waterbrook is producing world class wines from Walla Walla and the greater Columia Valley. Grapes for this 2012 Cab are sourced from three prime vineyards; Doval Vineyard and Canoe Ridge Vineyard in Columbia Valley and Willard Vineyard in Yakima Valley. A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot the wine was aged for 15 months in American oak barrels. It shows beautiful spicy and black fruit aromas. On the palate it’s bold but balanced with cherry notes, coca, mocha and hints of white pepper. Tannins are supple giving a silky texture and the finish is spicy and long. A beautiful expression of Washington Cab at a great price!
