Water Color Pinot Noir South Island 2008

Member Review by Gantt Hickman:

This started out a little dry. Definitely came around after it sat for a bit. Had a nice crisp acidity and easy tannins. Not that complex but seemed a little earthy. I would get it again if I saw it in the store.

Begins with smoky aromas of cherry and cola. A light ruby red, with hints of brick and earth. A lovely aroma delivers on it promise, with a weath of bright cherry fruit. Typical NZ Pinot acidity lifts and brightens the finish. Tannins are smooth and well-integrated.
