Washington Hills Winery Merlot Walla Walla Valley 2011

External Review:

Spice, vanilla, plum and black cherry notes fill the wonderful nose. The palate continues with cherry flavors carrying through with spice, black pepper and a hint of orange rind. The tannins are soft and support the wine on the long finish.

Good everyday table wine. Dark fruit, mellow and warm. Harsh unless decanted. This is box wine, but so what, put a glass bottle on the table if it makes you happy.
