Warwick Estate Pinotage(2005)

Winemaking Procedure: The grapes were hand harvested and fermented three quarters of the way on the skins after which it was pressed and left to finish fermentation in tank. The wines were then aged for 14 months in second and third fill 225L medium toast Never barrels.

Winemaker’s comments: This wine has a plum garnet colour with a complex of mix of fruits on the nose. A lively Pinotage sweetness balanced by careful wood ageing, plenty of ripe fruit and a spicy finish. The wine is very accessible and balanced.
