Add your reviewNot as sweet as i'd have expected, the age was showing and it was hot on the nose. There was some nice chocolate, spice and almond notes.
When I first opened this, it was showing some gorgeous aromas of cigar, cedar, minerals, and herbs. I was very impressed. As the day went on and the wine sat in the decanter, these aromas blew off. I was surprised at how fragile these tertiary aromas were. The wine sat in the decanter for several hours and I expected it to get better. I was somewhat disappointed. All things considered, in the beginning it was showing really well.

Ruby-colored, with grape, dark chocolate and plum. Full and chewy. Tannins are still there and need to mellow. Medium-sweet and grapey. great vinosity prunes figs; sweet fairly full-bodied fleshy elegant beautifully balanced. A archetypal WarreVery dry fragrant finish. With Graham my top 85. Michael Broadbent
Winemaker John Freeman harvested grapes from throughout Columbia Valley to make this richly flavored Cabernet. Aged 17 months in new oak, it offers mouth-filling blackberry fruit highlighted by notes of spice, toast and caramel.
