A ripe and rich tawny. Loads of caramel, honey and dried fruits, with just a hint of Douro bake, or iodine character. Full-bodied, sweet and very toffeelike on the palate. Long finish. Dying for nuts and Stilton. Drink now. 5,000 cases imported. -JS Wine Spectator. A Port wine from Douro in Portugal. N.V. Warre Otima 10 Year Old Tawny Port 500ml

An aged tawny that manages effortlessly to combine the freshness of a 10-year-old with the dry, cask-aged flavors of an older tawny. It has dried apricot flavors and orange marmalade, but there is also dryness from wood aging and good concentration.

Although much lighter than most ports, the aroma has dense caramel and walnut notes with a palate that has fresh, concentrated fruit.

Winemaker's Notes:

OTIMA 10 Years Old Tawny An aged 10 year old Tawny Port with a light delicate palate, challenging the perception of Port as a dark and fullbodied after dinner drink. Warre’s Otima has a ground-breaking contemporary design with a broad consumer appeal, whose radically different packaging was produced to appeal to younger drinkers. Tasting Notes Rich tawny colour, with an excellent nose of nuts and hints of mature fruit. On the palate light and delicate, beautifully rounded, with hints of dried fruits, and a long elegant finish.
