Clean, elegant gooseberry nose. Good, crisp acidity on the palate balanced nicely by flavoursome fruit.

Marlborough enjoyed a typically long dry Autumn in 2000 and as a result of a mid-April harvest, the fruit for this wine was in premium condition and beautifully balanced from a lower than normal cropping level. Ripe flavors abound and combined with varietal freshness and balanced acid, this wine already shows great palate weight and drinkability. Serve with a range of fine cuisine particularly shellfish or simply enjoy as an aperitiff. Alcohol Level: 13%

This Reserve Sauvignon Blanc exhibits freshness yet considerable length on the palate. Ripe tropical and melon characters are overlaid with lightly toasted oak and honey notes.
