The balanced character of the hybrid Vignoles is preserved in this pretty dessert wine from Wagner. A honeyed, floral nose leads into flavors of tropical fruit and a touch of lemon cream pie. Mouthcoating and lush.
Shows off the exotic musky-spicy side of this grape in its peppery, leathery aromas. Turns tropical in the mouth; papaya and mango are joined by zippy citrus-tinged acidity. Finishes long, with some of the peppery notes returning.
The Vignoles grape is a hybrid specifically created to thrive in cooler climates such as New Yorkrsquo;s. The floral bouquet precedes sweet pineapple and melon on the palate.
Very sweet and bracing at the same time, showing intense rhubarb, honey and green leaf flavors. Thick, yet stays fresh and clean on the finish. Drink now through 2003.
A wine that is abundant with the aromas and taste of exotic tropical fruits. The unique flavors of pineapple and papaya fill the mouth, culminating in an expansive lingering finish. Enjoy this wine with dark chocolates, cheesecake or chocolate truffles and ripe strawberries.
