Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Sweet nose of mango, lychee nut and almond. 12% RS, so its sweet, but there's acid too. Very rich and with nice mouthfeel. Its a little soft around the edge, but very nice. Paired well with Vanilla Buttercream Cake.

A classy dessert wine, exhibiting sweet-tasting flora, apricot and vanilla that's deftly integrated with the vibrant structure. Just a hint of earth on the long finish. Drink now through 2004.

Vinified as an intensely sweet wine, the Riesling Ice Wine displays rich, lush concentrated grape flavors and aromas. The wine fills the palate with a complex blend of apricots, honey and delicate Riesling fruit.

This ripe wine has an herbal scent, with notes of chervil and white flowers. Its passion fruit flavor has a hint of lees, and complexity that remains poised and finely rendered.

Orange, apricot and pineapple aromas ride over a deep bass note of earth and spice. The earth nearly takes over on the palate, providing a rich, complex counterpoint to the fruit-driven sweetness. could use a touch more of acidity to really make the flavors sing.

Very crisp and tart beneath the outer veneer of sweet honey and apricot flavors; rather like a sour-lemon candy. Refreshing and appealing. Drinkable now, but should improve through 1993.

Tangy maple, orange peel and spice notes are kept lively by juicy acidity in this focused, medium-weight dessert wine. The juicy texture hangs nicely on the finish. Drink now through 2003.
