Wagner Riesling Seneca Lake Dry 2008

Member Review by EMark:

Terrific clear yellow in the glass. Nice flowery nose. Totally dry on the palate. Very light. Almost, I'm sorry to report watery until it reaches the back of the palate. There I get some pleasant table grape flavor. Nice, albeit brief, finish. US$10.99 at Total Wine.

A bit blunt, but with a fresh core of apple and citrus fruit, this dry white has enough structure to match with food. Drink now.

A zesty, bright acidity and mineral notes balance the medium bodied, lush flavors of apricots and citrus fruits. A round peach nose and a true dry style make this Finger Lakes white the perfect catch for any seafood dish or lighter fare.

Crisp and austere in aroma and flavor, this dry Riesling shows richness midpalate, where the subtle peach and apple notes emerge. Lean, citrusy finish. Drink now.

A zingy Riesling that hails from a 250-acre estate on Seneca Lake. This dry white wine is light and balanced, showing delightful stone-fruity Riesling character.

Slightly sweet, rich in traditional Riesling characteristics. A fruity bouquet combines with stone fruit and citrus flavors that finish clean. Finished semi-dry. complements lighter Thai foods, curry dishes, salads with lemon dressing, seafood salads.

True expression of a Finger Lakes favorite. Bursting with bright apple, white peach and honeysuckle notes, with stony undertones to add complexity. A dry white that's perfect for pairing with savory chicken and pork dishes.

Aromas of peaches and apricots combine with citrus flavors in a medium bodied truly dry Riesling. Enjoyable with light meals.
