W. H. Smith Cabernet Sauvignon Piedra Hill Vineyard Purple Label 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Purple Label is an elegant and sophisticated wine that has great balance between acidity and fruit. Ruby in color with an aroma of cedar, oak and cherries. On the palate, you will be greeted by Italian prune plum, berry and hints of white pepper and clove with a smooth finish. This wine pairs well with: Coq au Vin, braised short ribs, aged Gouda and Romano cow's milk cheeses, chocolate cherry clusters. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Alcohol 14.2%. 200 cases produced.
