Voület Monferrato Antichi Giochi Piemontesi 2011
This delicious frizzante wine is a rare version of red Malvasia, vinified with a pleasant touch of sweetness and a light, frothy, sparkle. As The Washington Post's Dave McIntyre said about the 2011, "This delightful little frizzante red from Piedmont is a cousin to Brachetto d'Acqui, and equal to Brachetto in its affinity for chocolate." As always, the lightly sweet red raspberry and strawberry fruit is a delight!
i love the smooth taste of this wine.the only thing is you only can get it in d.c.or maryland, and a few stores in virginia.i will make a trip 300 miles an get a case if i have to.very good.
