Vougeot Cru les Petits Vougeot Bertagna 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2009 Bertagna Petits Vougeots offers up a deep and primary nose of tart cherries, beetroot, woodsmoke, fresh herb tones, complex soil nuances and a touch of new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and intensely flavored, with a good core of fruit, moderate tannins, bright acids and a long, modestly tannic and still very youthful finish. There is a slightly green edge here that needs to be waited out, but with a few years bottle age, this should be a pretty good drink." J Gilman 10/11
