Pale yellow with a green tinge. Bright aromas with guava, vanilla and sweet herbs. Unctuous papaya texture with a slightly salty minerality and a touch of lime. Juicy and generous, but tantalizingly dry on the finish. Unique style! -Joel Payne Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Riesling wine from Mosel Saar Ruwer in Germany. 2006 Von Schubert Maximin Grunhauser Abtsberg Riesling Superior 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

90 points Joel B. Payne (International Wine Cellar): Subtle aromas of guava, green apple and bacon fat. Unctuous melon texture with a salty minerality. Rich, pure and tantalizingly dry on the finish. In the off-dry style, one of the wines of the vintage. (Jan/Feb 2012)
