a rich head with chocolate tones. the body is jammy and not highly complex, but i was surprised with the show. falls apart with the finish. acidity was a bit high. i probably should have decanted. going to try again tonight (saved a few glasses to breathe). overall, though, a decent 2008.

Black currant, raisin nose, fruit filled, dry cherry flavors, nicely structured.

Scent of fig and plum. Dry with a powdery mouth-feel and a tart cherry flavor.
