Volpe Pasini Cof Grivò 2005
Pinot Gris is an important variety of Hungarian origin. The grapes, when couples are of a very intense color copper, which imposes a strict process without maceration. So wine, the wine is pale yellow in color, with distant reflections reminiscent of the color. It is a fruity wine, over time, took hints of dry hay, walnut husk, toasted almonds. Soft on the palate with great acidity discreet in synergy with the imposing structure, ages offering more complex olfactory sensations.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
Pale and straw colored. Soft fruity nose. First sip impressions? ...has very mellow flavors that mingle and hang around on the palate for a little while. It is fairly fruity with little "effervescent feel". It's a decent Pinot Gris for the money, but I think there are better ones out there for this price.
