Good bright ruby-red. Black cherry, redcurrant, plum, tobacco and chocolatey oak on the nose. Supple and sweet on entry, then slightly tart in the middle, with modest depth and clarity of flavor. Finishes a bit aggressive, with the wine’s tannins and acids not yet in harmony.
