Exhibits lots of blackberry and vanilla character on the nose, with hints of flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a long, crisp finish. A beautiful wine. Best after 2011.

Hot weather that produced wines with incredible levels of ripeness, along with blending 10% Merlot into the cuvée, resulted in a Chianti that exudes a ripe and lush style that's simply just too hard not to like.
A well-balanced nose, with black fruit and a hint of tobacco and mineral. Medium-bodied, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a clean, minerally finish. Drink now.
Don't let the value price fool you - this is a delicious, even slightly decadent bottle of Chianti Classico, with very ripe plum and tobacco on the nose, a medium body, well-knit medium tannins and a savory, fruity aftertaste. Best now through 2001.
