This wine shows an impressive mingling of citrus – grapefruit zest, tangerine pulp and orange pith. The breadth and weight on the palate are akin to half-and-half and there are raw milk flavors here, too. Hints of fresh mushrooms surface on the fairly brief finish. Enjoy its youth through 2014.

Green-gold. Exotically perfumed complex bouquet suggestive of citrus flesh and pith yellow plum and yeasty lees. Strong on the fermentation notes today giving it an intriguing impression of fresh cheese rind. Fleshy pit fruit flavors are braced by bitter lemon which enlivens the long minerally finish. This will probably be bottled in August of 2008 says Thevenet. Tanzer
