Food Pairings for Vinsobres Domaine Jaume Altitude 420
I was researching some Chateauneufs and came across this wine which is 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, a combination I like. This Altitude 420 had great color, nice raspberry and cherry fruit on the nose, and a real nice, drinkable, palate of subtle dark berry and enhanced red berry fruit. Medium bodied. A great value and looking forward to more and trying the "Reference".
Manual harvest with strict sorting, complete destemming and partial crushing.Temperature-controlled vatting for 12 days. Storage: 1/3 of the volume stored in barrels for 4 months in air-conditioned cellars.
A nose of red fruit, nicely full of fresh fruit such as blackcurrant and redcurrant, slightly oaky in the mouth and a lengthy finish on softened tannins
