Vinos Sin-Ley Monastrell Yecla M5 2007
A solid entry-level red with good fruit on the nose, great balance and mouthfeel; tannins are firm and quite well-rounded. Color is jewel-like, letting some light through at the edge. Not a huge wine, but very well done and approachable.Add winemaker's notes

Deep purple-red with aromas of fresh berries. On the palate is rich and dense, with expressive ripe fruit showing youthful texture. Its finish is long and complex with polished tannins.
The 2007 M5 is sourced from Yecla. Dark ruby-colored, the nose contains enticing, slightly roasted notes of mineral, pencil lead, and an amalgam of black fruits. On the palate, this meaty effort has excellent density, layered flavors, and a remarkably long finish for a wine of its humble price.
