Rating: 91/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 90, May/June 2000 Full ruby-red. Full-blown aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, minerals, tar and tobacco. Lush, dense and very concentrated, with deep dark fruit flavors complicated by roasted, flinty and floral nuances. Firm acids give the flavors very good definition. Thicker than the '98. Finishes with big but ripe and even tannins. Also showing very well.
