Viñedos Y Bodegas Pittacum Pittacum Aurea 2006
Food Pairings for Viñedos Y Bodegas Pittacum Pittacum Aurea
Age has given this wine a new look for the Mencía grape, taking on a riper character, though the grape’s traditional rosemary and rosehips aromas linger on. The usual bright raspberry notes compete with very ripe black cherries and plums, and the finish exhibits an almost confectionary ripeness, though Mencía’s typical dustiness arrives at the end.
12000 bottles produced.
Aged 14 months in French Oak.
Notes: 100% new French oak
