Vinedos Emiliana Carmenere Natura Colchagua Valley 2013
Really Lovely on the nose, this is full of green tomato, red currant and mossy, earthy aromas that are fresh and bright. Round and fresh in the mouth, this is just past being full bodied and is a touch thick in the mouth for my tastes but delivers a very attractive core of black currant fruit that gains a whisper of oak contributing complexity and a little sweetness on the palate. Fruity, rich and with really attractive clarity and length to the flavors and a late arriving hint of pepperiness, I do like this but just wish it was a touch lighter on its toes. 87ptsAdd winemaker's notes

A nice smooth wine. I am not certain that it being organic makes that much of a difference when it is shipped from Chile to the States but it was a worthwhile tasting experience.
Purple violet color almost opaque, high intensity. On the nose, brambly fruit, hints of hibiscus flowers, moderate plus intensity, hint of mint. Moderate acidity, dry with moderate plus alcohol and medium plus intensity, medium plus body and medium plus chalky tannins. On the palate hints of blackcurrant and blackberry stems, not too oaky but a hint of sandalwood and coffee. Moderate length.
Earthy. Not as full as others, but complex. It's great to drink an organic wine. I'll definitely drink it again.
Nice Car that handles combined qualities expected from a Cab and Merlot. On the paint job, dark shadows of eye candy red coated with a fade to magenta tone. Runs the familiar dark berries road w/ a lingering finish. Paired w/ rubbed-n-grilled pork loin on the smoky sweet-spicy side and young Fontina quesadillas. A great bargain at 6 USD, bought at a mexican retail vino shop.
Excellent with spicy Thai food. Well balanced.

Solid, showing ripe plum and blackberry fruit laced with tobacco and toast notes, with a nice fresh finish. Drink now.
Bright purple. Cherry and boysenberry on the spice-accented nose and palate. Plump and a bit loose-knit but offers plenty of straightforward appeal. Finishes with good cling and a touch of warmth.
This red is fleshy and focused, featuring a streak of light toasty herb and vanilla notes that hold the core flavors of black cherry and tobacco leaf together. Lively acidity runs throughout. Drink now.
Made from organically grown grapes. Deep ruby. High-pitched, slightly medicinal aromas of red berries and cherry pit are lifted by a note of black pepper. A zesty, tightly wound wine that shows good vivacity to its redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors. Finishes brisk and dry, with good cut and modest length.
Intensely colored red with a full body and chewy mouthfeel. Black fruits, toffee and toasted oak marry well on the palate. A lot of wine for the price range, with more complexity than most. Elegant enough to serve with grilled tuna or vegetable lasagna.
Ripe, dark, toasty and true, with herbal blackberry aromas. The palate feel is balanced and driving, while the flavors are properly roasted and warm, with black plum and blackberry fruit leading the charge. Sweet and lasting on the finish.
Sweet and smoky to start with, and with its mild roasted nose it draws you in. The palate is big, boisterous and generous, but also under control as it delivers pure boysenberry, blackberry and chocolate flavors. Toasty and long, and impressive for an $11 wine.
