Vinedos Alonso del Yerro Paydos Toro 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

93 points Luis Gutierrez (Wine Advocate): ...a worthy follower of the 2010, pure Tinta de Toro from an old vineyard in Morales de Toro, with plenty of notes of graphite, soil and spices over a core of ripe black raspberries. With time, the nose turns more floral and the spices feel quite exotic. The palate shows some dusty, chalky tannins, and is full-bodied, powerful and balanced in its XL way. It should develop nicely in bottle. 5,000 bottles were filled in September 2013. This is a good value. Drink: 2015-2022. (Oct 2015)
