Vincent Girardin St. Veran 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes The St Veran vineyards border Pouilly Fuisse in the Southern Maconnais. The warmth of the climate and the deep limestone soil give the wines an attractive apricot and apple character to their chardonnays.

Light yellow. Musky pear and mirabelle aromas are complicated by anise and lemon thyme. Gently chewy Saint-Veran, with ripe orchard fruit flavors and good mineral grip. Riper on the finish, leaving behind a sweet melon note. Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Chardonnay wine from Burgundy in France. 2007 Girardin, Vincent Saint Veran 750ml
