- More complex than the Pernot but without the sheer breed this offers up crushed mineral, banana peel and jammy hints of golden raspberry on the nose with subtle accents of smoke and parchment. Still with a touch of raw wood on the nose and palate this is richly fruited and bright with excellent intensity in the mouth if a touch loose in comparison to the Pernot.
