Vincent’s red wines are profound and intense, balancing the tannins and the ripe fruit. These wines demonstrate fullness of structure, with unmistakable grandeur, without any astringency. Success in winemaking requires a rigour and attention to detail at all times for each individual wine. Because each wine has its own specific characteristics, the right technical decisions by the winemaker are essential. Read less

Smooth mouthfeel with refreshing acidity. Floral, honey flavors, creamy but not overly buttery or oaky.

Here the nose is slightly riper than that of the Bienvenue as there is a mildly exotic character to the otherwise attractively fresh and complex yellow orchard fruit nose that gives way to seductively textured concentrated and agreeably energetic flavors. Consistent with a typical Bbtard this is solidly powerful focused and balanced but there isn t quite the same depth and overall sense of harmony. That said this is still quite good. Burghound.

A strikingly complex if somewhat less elegant nose offers a considerable breadth of aromas that include ripe peach, spiced pear and white floral hints that serve as a flourishing introduction to the equally ripe, rich, muscular and mouth coating big-... If this wasn't in a clear glass, I'd swear it was a red wine. Floral, berry and sweet spice flavors are fleeting and ethereal, while the structure is well-integrated. Starts out elegant, gaining power as this soars on the mineral-drenched finish. Bes... Wine Spectator. A Chardonnay wine from Burgundy in France. 2006 Vincent Girardin Batard Montrachet 750ml

There's plenty of oak in this beefy red, lending smoke and spice accents, yet it also has macerated cherry, plum and mineral notes. Tannic now, with good length. Best from 2010 through 2016. 300 cases imported. -BS Wine Spectator. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2006 Vincent Girardin Santenay les Gravieres 750ml

Superripe but reticent nose is currently dominated by menthol and rocks. Hugely rich and broad but quite dry and classic, with a distinct white pepper quality in the middle palate and on the extremely long aftertaste. An impressively tactile wine tha... Stephen Tanzer.
