Food Pairings for Viña Tarapaca Sauvignon Blanc Limited Edition
Smooth and round with leather and spice.
With grilled pork, chicken, peppers and potatoes. Dark colour. Strong enough taste for gilled food as is with many Carmenere's I've tasted. Would benefit from longer aftertaste.
I don't generally like Sauvignon Blancs, but this one was pretty good. Fruity, not very dry, almost sweet
Fantastic purple colour, excellent nose with strong notes of pepper, black fruit and ripe plums. Extremly well balanced medium-bodied wine, ready to drink or save for up to 15 years...
Opaque deep ruby in colour, this Carmenère displays aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, smoky cedar, and a hint of mustard. It's dry, medium full-bodied with bold flavours of black fruit, smoky cedar, and red pepper jelly balanced by medium acidity and mouth-coating tannins, all leading to a warm medium-long finish. A very attractive companion for rare beef or rich lamb dishes. (LCBO)

Grown and blended in the Maipo Valley region of Chile, this Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 16 months in American and French Oak Barrels. One can expect licorice, black fruit, spices, with a balanced acidity.
