/ Juicy and ripe, with very friendly pear, piecrust and spice notes. The finish is round and tasty.
Reserva Chardonnay 2008 - Sante/ Fruit-forward nose of banana, mango, cooked fruit, and bread crust; sweet and spicy flavors of grapefruit, peach, and quince. Medium to full bodied with hints of ginger on the finish.
Reserva Chardonnay 2009 - 88 points, Wine Advocate / The 2009 Chardonnay Reserva saw 25% of the wine aged in oak sur lie with batonnage, the balance in stainless steel. Aromas of toast, melon, pear, apple, and hazelnuts lead to a nicely proportioned, medium-bodied, ripe wine with excellent depth and concentration. It is an excellent value that over-delivers in a big way.
Reserva Chardonnay 2010 - 87 points, Wine Spectator/ Fresh and cut, with a creamy edge to the pineapple, Honeycrisp apple and citrus fruit that picks up spice and chalk on the finish.
Reserva Chardonnay 2008 - Wine Spectator/ Plump, friendly apple and pear fruit flavors are followed by a touch of butter on the clean finish.
Reserva Chardonnay 2007 - 4+ Stars, Restaurant Wine/ A full bodied, crisp, moderately intense wine, with complex, delicate aromas/flavors (pear, pineapple, roasted nut, vanilla, and grapefruit), and a long finish. Excellent value.
