Rating 85 .Somehow disappointing. Strong vegetal nose and taste. Tannins slightly bitter. Full body long finish. Smell is to annoying for me to warrant a better rating.
I found this Cab a bit restrained, with no hard edges. Very soft tannins, a pleasant nose, and controlled fruit with some nice herbal notes. Very easy drinking.

Wines from Chile, Argentina earn an olé!/ Here is an especially good one to look for: Santa Rita Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2005.
/ Dark but focused with a solid core of black currant, loam, mint and tobacco flavors followed by smoke and grilled herb notes on the finish.
/ Give Santa Rita a good Cabernet vintage and they will make good wines from the top down to the everyday level. The latter category is well represented with this exuberant, balanced wine. The nose is ripe but natural, while the cherry and berry flavors rush over the palate and roll along the finish. Very nice in this price range.
/ Very nice nose with honeysuckle blossom, orange, Gala apple, violet, and menthol. Spicy finish with black pepper and soft tannins. Duck or lamb; firm chesses.
