Viña San Pedro Chardonnay Gato Negro 2009
This intense Chardonnay is clean and light yellow in colour, with aromas of pineapple and a hint of banana that blend beautifully with a rich note of vanilla. Bright acidity enhances the fresh fruit flavors and lends perfect balance to the sweet sensation that lingers on the deliciously long and pleasing finish

One of best Bonarda in Oltrepo' pavese ! You can start with a really fresh 2009 till a really serious 2006. The wine becomes less fizzy and bubbling more concentrated. Fresh red fruits are predominant. It' very good with starters and pasta, expecially filled pasta as ravioli ( very typical in the Oltrepo') in a good beef broth or with a stew sauce. Also ideal for bollito misto ( boiled beef, chicken, salami, tongue...). The most interesting in my opinion is a really"natural" flavour is wine made with modern technology but in ancient style !
famous wine in San pedro company. Generally good and this wine shows san pedro's potential.
The first time I had this wine was in 1998. I really like this fruity wine.
sweet/dry finish- fruitier
This wine is very inexpensive. With that being said it is a lot better than a lot of other wines that sell for more. It's not too oak-ey and not too full bodied. It is a great wine for the price. We regularlybuy this for $6.00.
A bottle is only $3.99, so it is no bad for daily wine.

Warm and fruity, this medium-bodied blend is packed with succulent red berry fruit flavors that are nicely complemented by subtle notes of tobacco and spice. Gentle tannins on the palate lead into a fresh fruity finish.
Floral aromas of violets and rose petals dance with wild strawberries on the nose of this wine. The mouthfeel, silky and refined, brightens with ripe chokeberry and currant, while touches of pipe tobacco and worn leather round out the sip. French and American oak make a lasting impression, leaving this wine with a balanced finish of toasted spices and refined tannins.- Winery Vineyard Source: Russian River Valley Monterey Clarksburg Barrel Program: 10 months in French and American Oak Wine pH: 3.67 Wine Acidity: 0.53g/100ml Alcohol: 13.5%
