Intense leather and boysenberry with integrated vanilla, spice, oak, raw meat, black pepper, a bit hot. -Big, intensely fruity with wild blueberry and plummy fruit. Rich, yet with excellent balance. Very finely managed tannin gives this an almost silky feel, touches of coffee, butterscotch and chocolate twizzler add complexity to the black cherry fruit on the mid-palate. Finishes with surprising freshness and a nice lingering mineral/toast note and even a final flourish of violets. A touch youthful with woody tannin sticking out a bit ,but with the balance and depth to come together beautifully. Needs a few months to fully integrate. A solid value for a rather big, fruit forward pleaser. 87pts

Great malbec-esque purple color without the teeth staining ink. Harmonius blend which has the masculinity of the Petite Sirah, razor sharp acidity of the Syrah, and the color most likely comes from the small amount of Tannat. The perfect food for this are turkey/chicken teriyaki meatballs.

Nice blend of Petite Sirah and Syrah. Dark, acidic, full bodied, fruit forward (think of sour cherries), smooth finish, pleasant, and great for pairing with a variety of foods.

Great red blend. Nice mouth feel. One can almost detect every grape with enough time, but the petit syrah really carries this home...

Deep and dark. Went well with a spanish array of herb infused dishes. Fresh fruit notes in the middle, with a smooth and long finish

I have tried this when i was in France and seriously i fell in love with its exotic and sweet taste.

An excellent wine with a relatively long life ahead. The 51% Petite Sirah's softer fruit works perfectly with the bold 43% Syrah. The 2007 Paso Robles vintage is one of the most highly rated in the last two decades (comparable to the Cabernet ratings for Napa/Sonoma), as it is for most of the central coast, particularly for Syrah and Pinot Noir. My strategy: every time you drink one, and you'll want to, "cellar" one - or two. Wineries like Kynsi and Talley in San Luis Obispo and their peers, along with many in Paso Robles, should also have great success accumulating both awards and revenues over the next couple of years --> as these wines are going to stick around.

Dunkles Violett, Im Bouquet viel dunkelbeerige Noten und feiner Kaffeeduft. Am Gaumen weich und saftig mit voller Frucht von reifen, süssen Beeren, Pflaumen, Kirschen und Gewürzen. Leicht holzige Nuancen. Dem Côtes-du-Rhône nachempfunden.

Dark vibrant garnet with aromas of black cherry and plum with dark currant and spice, violets and toasty oak. A lush, fresh and fruity wine with dense blackberry, ripe cherry and vanilla notes.

This blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Tannat, and Touriga makes for a big, powerful red.
