My Rating 84: This is a light bodied acidity concoction of a carmenere. Nose is OK but not interesting at all
Great wine for the price. Very smooth
Well-balanced wine for the price. Not particularly full-bodied, but recognizably a Carmenere. Where the reviewer Wolle found exaggerated acidity in this wine I am not sure about.
Quite smooth. Great value for the price.
Wine has dark ruby color and intensive fruit smell. Unfortunately the taste is short, and doesn't bring any interesting flavors, apart from very light cherry. I have very ambivalent feelings to this vine. On one hand it doesn't bring anything special, but on other hand I simply like it.
The wine has a interesting smell, but the alcohol dominates the taste. Flavors are hard to find, wine is short, and doesn't give ant flavors at the end. I wouldn't recommend it.
Smooth, dark wine with soft, luxurious tannins. Notes of tobacco, spice and dark chocolate.
Food Pairings for Viña Maipo Carménère Valle del Maule

From Vina Maipo was one of the first wineries to plant Syrah in the Maipo Valley of Chile, this bright ruby red wine is well-rounded with soft tannins and a mouth-filling texture.
