Once past the oak-driven aromas of coconut and mint yoursquo;ll find a lusty bouquet full of cherry and cassis. The palate deals sweet and dried spices (cinnamon and clove) along with medium-strength but clean berry flavors. And the finish is toasty and warming. A very nice wine, but quite woody in its present state.

The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon ldquo;Max Reservardquo; has a good nose of toast, smoke, and black currants. On the palate the wine has ample black fruits and ripe tannins which should support an additional 2ndash;4 years of bottle aging. The wine has a medium-long, fruity finish.

Dichtes Purpur. Feingliedriges Heidelbeeren- und Eukalyptusbouquet, intensiv und recht tiefgründig, Pfeffer und wilder Rosmarin. Seidiger und wunderschön reifer Gaumen. Im Finale marmeladige Brombeernoten, Schokolade und Minze, klingt elegant und lange aus.
