Add your reviewThe Max Reserva Cab 2006, I confess, a buy I made based on a 90 point rating sticker on the bottle - the first time. I have gone back for more and would say the rating is well-deserved. Dried fruit and cedar on the nose, rich red fruit & cab profile with good viscosity and tannic backbone on opening. Everything gets more supple & luscious after an hour or more of decanting. Enjoy this wine with or without food but over an evening or two. The flavor and aroma are great upon opening, but they deepen after decanting. Freshly opened, it is great with roasted red meats. Re-cork and try some the next day... it is even better for sipping. Try pouring a glass and leave it for an hour... if you can resist it for that long!

Our 2004 Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is deep violet coloured and displays a bouquet characteristic of this favourite variety. On the nose tobacco and cedar scents come forward accompanied by sweet spices like cinnamon and ripe black and red cherries aromas. The young and spicy tannins give a beautiful backbone to this wine. The combination of this bouquet laced with the vanilla and smoky notes rendered by the oak, make this a beautiful wine with great complexity. In the mouth it is elegant, with a balanced and firm structure.
