Sweet tart on the nose with some compost, herbaceous notes over a bit of pickle barrel. This is fairly low in acid, sort of lying across the palate with a nice low intensity core of blueberry and sour cherry fruit that leads to a short, slightly drying finish. 84pts

This is loaded with jammy blackberry, boysenberry fruit with some licorice spice in the background. There is a slight herbal green pepper /tomato leaf edge on finish as well as some cocoa . Great price as well.

Bold, yet extremely smooth, this wine gives off a deep garnet red color in the glass that leads to flavors of cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and coffee.

Spicy, earthy red with great fruit, hearty body and elegant richness. Don't let the obscure varietal throw you off - you will love this wine if you like Cabs, Syrahs or Merlots. Very easy to drink, with excellent food-pairing potential. Serve this with any steak, beef stew or grilled vegetable dish.

Deep ruby. Ripe aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, plum and tobacco, lifted by a subtle floral quality. Rich and ripe, with a rather supple texture and a sweet dark berry flavor dominating. I don't detect any tannins in this fruit bomb. Finishes with expansive dark fruit character and sweet persistence.

Very juicy, with forward, tasty flavors of plum, blackberry, tobacco and roasted vanilla. There's a nice dash of grip on the finish. Drink now.

    Winemaker's Notes:

This wine’s deep, beautiful red-carmine colour is typical of the variety it represents so well. A delicious and velvety Carmenere, which displays red fruit aromas combining perfectly with spicy hints. In mouth it’s definitely an intense wine, tasty, juicy and elegant. Appreciate its excellent structure and a balanced acidity. Drink young: from 2 to 3 years.
