Bright medium ruby. Blackberry and spice on the nose, plus hints of meat and leather. Juicy, fruit-driven and on the lean side; not a fleshy wine but fresh, lively and pure. Offers an attractive light touch mdash; and not at all short on the finish.

Bright ruby-red. Varietally expressive nose offers black cherry, blackberry, leather, bitter chocolate, coffee and a hint of sandalwood. A sweet, fresh midweight, not yet complex but offering good stuffing and backbone. Perhaps a bit youthfully sullen but serious for the price range. Harmonious already but Irsquo;d hold this for a year before popping the cork. Finishes with broad, dusty tannins. Very nicely made.

Fresh, with forward, easygoing raspberry, vanilla and licorice notes. Juicy finish. Drink now.
