91 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: `The purple-colored 2007 Felino Cabernet Sauvignon offers up spicy black currants and blackberry. Smooth-textured and layered it has excellent balance and a lengthy pure finish. Its hard to think of a better value in Cabernet Sauvignon. Vina Cobos is Paul Hobbs winery in Mendoza. He is better known (at least for the moment) to USA connoisseur/collectors for his namesake winery in Napa Valley which has received many accolades (including 100-point scores from Robert Parker) for its Cabernets Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. What is less well known is that Hobbs is a pioneer in fine wine production in Argentina having started there in 1988 with Nicolas Catena. Senor Catena gives Hobbs much credit for the success of Catena-Zapatas Chardonnay program. He has since extended his consulting efforts both in Argentina and Chile but the capstone of Hobbs work is Vina Cobos which began in 1998 and moved into its own winery facility in 2007.` (Dec. 2008)

This solid, juicy Cabernet delivers plum, currant, vanilla and cocoa notes backed by a fleshy, juicy finish. Drink now through 2009.
Quite ripe, with plum sauce and blackberry jam notes woven with sweet licorice and spice. Sweet fruit hangs on the finish. A bit obvious, but will have some fans. Drink now.
The 2006 Cocodrilo Cabernet Sauvignon spent 9 months in French and American oak, 21% new. Purple-colored, it offers a lovely bouquet of spice box, violets, and black currants. Full-bodied and layered, it has a supple texture, ripe flavors, excellent depth and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It is an outstanding value.
Winemaker's Notes:
Aromas of black currant and spice accompany a deep garnet color to introduce this stylish cabernet sauvignon. The generous palate offers perfectly ripened black fruits framed with bittersweet cocoa and hints of tobacco and earth. Fine, ripe tannins and subtle mineral notes grace a lengthy finish.
