An OK to pretty good Chardonnay. A slight sour finish prevents me from rating this a 4 out of 5. The start is slightly buttery with a touch of spring floral and apples. However the slight sour bite at the end prevents it from truly shining. I also gave this vintage a few tries and bought each bottle from a different store to see if it was a bad bottle (this wine came highly recommended from a friend so I had to try to love it). For the price its not a bad way to go and I think you will be happy, but with a little extra effort there are better Chilean Chardonnays to be had at the same price. P.S. I live in, and purchased/drank it in, Chile so I doubt the issue is shipping or anything like that.

Firm and toasty, this is quite full-bodied, with clean, ripe flavors of apple and toast and enough acidity for balance. A good match for poultry. Drink now.
A fresh, approachable wine, with intense varietal character of pineapple, grapefruit and lemon. On the palate, the creamy texture is balanced by lively acidity and good structure.
An elegant, aromatic wine with a pale yellow/green color. The lively aromas feature tropical fruit, especially passion fruit and pineapple, together with notes of white peach, lemon and herbs. A distinctive mineral note is lightly evident on the nose and carries through to the palate. The mouthfeel is soft, round, and full. Good volume and acidity balance the ripe fruit, creating harmony and a long finish. The wine is made to enjoy in its youth, while the ripe fruit character is at its freshest.
Light, leesy flavors give this a Macirc;con-like simplicity. No element is taken too far; the ripeness holds to a dry pineapple flavor, the oak lends toast and a light, buttery richness without marginalizing the fruit. Balanced and correct.
Whatrsquo;s so nice about this wine is that it doesnrsquo;t get in your face with an excess of everything. Modulated apple and peach flavors are treated with just the right dose of lees and oak, while bright acids provide needed crispness. It has an elegance that belies the giveaway price.
Ripe, a bit blowsy, and sweet on the finish; this generous white offers tropical fruit and vanilla flavors, round but soft. Drink now.
A blend of fruit from three wine valleys, this is a medium-bodied, simple Chardonnay. Asparagus notes in the nose and just a pinch of wood on the flavor profile. Honeyed and soft in the mouth. More good than bad.
