Black fruits such as plums, cherries, and even a few raisins are accompanied by herbs and spices in the wine's nose; the mouth is the same with fairly powerful tannins and lingering earth. The wine is compact, even slightly withdrawn at present, but with airing and time, it unfolds to a fair degree of complexity with red fruits and herbs gaining.
