Had with a Black truffle roasted chicken. WOnderful wine light in color though not faded. Rich nose of anise, cherries, tar, and earth. Soft on the palate with the tannins fully develeoped, the wine cressed the mouth while the acidity helped to cut the richness of the chicken. Fun wine and drunk at just the right time. [NR]

A great every day old fashioned wine. Dry and well balanced with no fruit forward foolishness. Typical nebbiolo taste.
