Villabella Vigna Morlongo Bardolino Classico 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

The grapes for this wine are sourced from gravel and clay vineyards situated in the heart of the Bardolino Classico area. Marceration lasts for 10 days and fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, between 22 and 25 degrees C. The wine spends one year in small stainless steel tanks and refines in bottle before release. It has a light, fruit driven nose expressing typicaly Veronese characteristics of strawberries and red cherries. The palate is light bodied, fresh and attractive with ripe red fruits, little tannin and a supporting acidity that is balancing and at the same time refreshing. This wine will accompany most meals, particularly Mediterranean dishes and white meats.
