Star bright, fresh and focused, Sparina's classic Gavi offers aromas of vibrant flavors of pomelo, peach, lemon thyme and traces of white flowers and minerals. Meant to be enjoyed in its youth, this is a great anytime white that is sure to please any persnickety palate. Founded by Mario Moccagatta, the Villa Sparina estate is situated in Monterotondo, the heart of the Gavi district. Villa Sparina's strict practices of yield reduction and delayed harvest enable it to make a triumphant, definitive Gavi.

Winemaker Notes - Straw-yellow colour. Fragrance of flowers and fruit with hints of peach. Full and rich taste, soft and harmonical with tones of noble aromas, resulted from the complete ripening of the grapes, which intensify the character. This wine goes perfectly with white meat and fish-dishes. To be served at a temperature of 12 C.

This is a northern Italian, dry white wine yet it's incredibly accessible for the fruit is generous and honeyed with aromas of lanolin and linden. Drink well chilled.
