Lovely wine from an area near San Gimignano more famous for its whites. Also try the Vivaldaia (Cabernet Franc) and the Shiraz!!

Fortunate enough to visit this vineyard - then find the wine in costco - for the price point this is an excellent full bodied super tuscan.

Was impressed,Great bottle of wine.Will be even better after 2010 or 2011.Closed liquor smell nose.But the tannins and finish are so balanced for a italian wine.Wonderful job of blending.Fantastic flavors going on.Highly recomended!!!!!!Will probably most likely have a 5 rating next year.Same quality wine as his william selyem`s are.BUY more than one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aromatic, with blackberry, black cherry and licorice. Full-bodied, with firm, silky tannins and a long, beautiful finish. Gorgeous. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Best after 2010. -Wine Spectator
